Just finishing up the last stages for my fiance to get her K1 visa. I have recently done some research for the next steps once she arrives in the US. In the beginning I had a lot of questions but answered most of them with my research. I do although have a coupIe I would like to ask. I'm a little paranoid and want to make sure. lol

What forms should I ask my fiance to bring before she leaves her home country?

The two that I found:

- birth certificate

- medical examination/vaccine record (DS3025)

Is the DS3025 form the same form she gets when she does the medical examination for the K1 visa interview? Do she need to obatin a seperate copy?

And are they any other forms you recommend for us to get before my fiance comes to the US?

Thanks in advance :)

You are dead on about bringing those two documents. Make sure the Birth Certificate gets an English translation.

As far as the the DS3025, when she goes to her medical exam for the K1 Visa, the Doctore will give her a sealed envelope and a copy of the DS3025 for her records. If you opt to have her/him receive all required shots (which I HIGHLY recommend) then she will not be required to get a medical exam/I-693 when she comes into the United States as long as you file for the Adjustment of Status within one year of her medical in S. Korea.

Hope this helps.

Suggest that you get a couple copies of her translated birth cert. It is often easier to get those now, rather than later.

Good luck on your immigration journey.
