Hello Visa Journey,

My wife finally had her case completed by the NVC and she is scheduled for the interview on August 12. Yay!

We are planning a trip away to visit her family the 26th of August. Will she get her passport back in time for our trip? How long will it take after the interview to get it back?

Thank you!

5-10 working days, which is 1-2 weeks if there is no UK or US holiday when the embassy would be closed. One week has been the norm lately, but it changes with their workload.

Dear Nich-Nick,

Thank you for your help. Hopefully it doesn't cut too close to our travel date. Good thing our departure date can be flexible!

Cheers,

Kelly and David
