I think it's just that they had such high expectations from him and he turned out to be such a lousy President. Most of the news media were drooling at the mouth, heck the Nobel committee gave him a peace prize before he even broke in the oval office crapper. Hope,Change and transparency and people bought into that, from someone who turned out to be just another Chicago political machine street hustler. When people really go out on the fringe it's hard to admit they are wrong. It's a pride thing.

You ever have a buddy get into Amway, and make a complete fool of himself, and alienate all his friends, while losing 1000's of dollars? Many times years after it's over they will not admit it is what it is. Rabid Obama supporters are kind of like that

The US immigration code, for your information doesn't claim anyone has done anything, it's just information about the code. Who knew? Citing it does not prove that anyone, least of all your legally elected and confirmed president is breaking the law. Who knew?

Interesting you should make the comparison with Amway. For years the GOP has been touting that same model as 'Trickle Down Economics' and their supporters, have been defending it rabidly, as you say.

To be sure, the failed economic policies of administrations long passed will also be blamed on Obama. Any port in a storm, right? :rofl: :rofl:

From what I know about Amway, the don't encourage you to sell and products or do any work, just sign up new members . Then one one person actually does generate a sale of a tangible product and engage in commerce, 8 people get a cut of what they sold, although they did nothing. Most lose money, and the only people that make anything are the few at the top and the people selling support videos etc.

Socialism is the most overused concept on the board and the least understood.
