Good news is I received my appointment letter and the date is Aug 25 Tokyo embassy. My question is after the interview and hopefully it will be approved, does the embassy recommends POE to the States to get the visa stamp by Custom or it doesn't matter where is POE to the States as loans the Visa is stamp by Custom. I.E. say if we wanted to go to Hawaii for Vacation and get the stamp there.

No, the US embassy does not recommend any PoE after approval. Many people choose PoE based on their flights like my husband and I did. Choose whichever you think are the best whether from ticket prices, layovers, or total flight times.
