I believe ball bats are replacing knives as the weapon of choice for many in the UK. I have a friend who is a retired police officer from London and he once told me that he was amazed at the number of people in the UK that carry ball bats in the trunk (boot) of their cars. He said he never realized baseball was that popular in the UK.

I think they are actually Rounders, not Baseball.

Well I've never the felt the need to own or carry a weapon to protect myself. I don't know anyone who does, and noone I know lives in fear of repressive government or being victimised by criminals.

Rounders is a good game, lots of fun for no significant financial outlay if played with a tennis ball and rolled up newspaper, which is the way all the best teams played

Why do you think I have any interest in your little hobby? I have none whatsoever. If you think that people outside of the US can't have an interest in target shooting and engage legally in that activity, well, ignorance is its own reward.

To be fair, to be any good at a thing you do have to practice. I am sure he will win some competition or something soon, because he's never going to get to practice his skills on a live target, unless he loses the plot and starts mowing down innocents, which isn't exactly likely.

A bit of a tactical shoot (Shield) and later just target shooting with a ( 37) S&W Outdoorsman, Sweet little gun. Beats stamp collecting that some do .

I was at the range today too. I shot my .36 1851 Navy London Model until a cap got down inside the action. After that I shot a remington new army .44.

Sure, why not? Why not go out and kill animals for fun, that's a perfectly dandy pastime. However, yes, of course that's legal but not exactly what I had in mind
