I need help in filling I-864a.

I am the beneficiary and I am intending to use a joint sponsor for my case since my petition cannot sponsor me.

The Joint sponsor is my uncle.

1) Does he need to fill I-864a? If yes

2) What should be the answer for part 13 as in the screen shot attached.

3) and regarding the I-864 form. If my uncle is a joint sponsor and my petition cannot sponsor me is my petition my first joint sponsor and my uncle is the second joint sponsor or my uncle is the only joint sponsor so the answer in part 1 1.d or 1.e

4) And in this part what should be the number of household size?

Thanks in advance.

For a joint sponsor, it's my understanding that the preference is that he fills out his own I-864. The I-864A is only used for household members of a sponsor. Your uncle is not the petitioner's household member (is he?), so you cannot use that form. Even if the petitioner's income or assets are not high enough, he or she must still fill out an I-864.

The petitioner would mark 1.a on his or her I-864, and your uncle would mark 1.d on his, since he is presumably the only joint sponsor.

For the household size, it's pretty straightforward. I don't know your situation, but you would put the number of people in each box, and then add them together. When I added the numbers in your screenshot, I got 10. Where does 13 come from?
