Just a quick update: My little honey bunny will have her interview at the US embassy in Bangkok on January 9, 2015. The entire process will have taken a little more than 5 months, from the date USCIS received my application. God bless you all. Merry Christmas!

Hello July-sters :]

My fiancé just finished his interview Friday, and his visa was approved!

On Monday the visa status said "issued", so we're hoping he'll receive it soon!

So happy to be finished with this part of the process but sorry to hear about others experiencing delays.

Wishing you all the best!

Visa interview held today at the Stockholm US Embassy. It was Approved (hooray! :dancing: ), but processing the visa will be delayed until a new "original" birth certificate and police clearance are sent to them. Apparently the originals submitted weren't original enough. Oh myyyy!

Our interview is today. My fiancé is going to get a 221g because a doctor hasn't finished his report and the medical packet is not ready. Difficult to swallow when your fate is resting in the hands of others. We struggled to make sure everything was ready today so we could at least know by the holidays. Yet it wasn't important enough to someone else so we are left in limbo still.

So many emotions today ?

I'm sorry to hear LionessDeon :( when was the medical exam? Maybe the test results on the blood work had not yet come back? Even if everything else looked good they still have to wait for the test results. I hope everything goes smooth from here and you'll be celebrating a visa soon!

Thank you! I also hope and pray it will get cleared up soon! His medical was 9 days before the interview. The medical facility told him exactly what it is so hopefully Monday it will get completed and he can go back and pick it up!
