K1 July 2014 Filers

Does anyone know where California Service Center is at with processing K1 app? I am really hoping to get an interview by Dec 2014. :ranting:

I know its frustrating....be thankful you are at CSC and not TSC....rough estimates are that it will take about 60 days to get approval at California center. The data the VJ group collects says they are starting to look at July files and the majority of June K1 files have been approved....the bottom of your timeline says around the middle of October but that date changes on a weekly basis! We filed around the same time and I am doubtful at this time that my fiance will be here by the end of December. We really dont know what is going to happen but typically California is much faster than Texas but they have slowed down quite a bit....when I first filed in July many people were getting approved at CSC in a month and now it is between 2-3 months but still faster than the long wait in Texas! The best advice is to assume it is going to take closer to a 4-5 month wait and if it goes faster you will be thrilled....best of luck :-)

By going on immigration timelines, then click on Igors list it shows they doing the last part of June and three from july and two august have gone through.

But if you go to K1 Visa timelines (same page) and click NOA2 column it shows that californa is only approving transfers from texas

What i meant about two august approvals, was..

Is that so far there have been two petitions/ applications that were filed in the month of august that have been approved.

Not just a total of two petitions approved in the month of august.

Does that make more sense.

Thanks! That makes more sense for sure (unless you think too much about the fact August filers have already been approved while others are still waiting). When you add in the new twist of "CSC only approving TSC transfers" mentioned in your last post, this whole process is enough to make you lose your mind! (As if being away from our fiance's isn't hard enough)! Looks like we would be safer to start planning for Spring weddings, eh?

(L) (L) (L)OUR K-1 TIMELINE (L) (L) (L)

July 23, 2014: I-129f sent to Dallas Lockbox

July 28, 2014: Received notice of receipt from USPS

July 31, 2014: Check cashed and email/NOA-1 received :)

August 1, 2014: Notice on USCIS site that Alien Registration number had been changed

August 4, 2014: NOA-1 received via USPS (found out our Notice Date was actually July 30th, and I'm thankful for even one extra day) So glad to be at the California Service Center :dancing:

December 4, 2014 RFE - They lost our passport photos. :ranting:

March 3, 2015: Hallelujah! We got our NOA 2! :dancing:(L)

March 19, 2015: NVC Received! (L) :dancing:

I dont know what to do at this point except pray. And stay busy. I keep telling myself i am not going to look at this site today and here i am again.

Even though we wish it our petitions being approved. At least they are approving some and getting them out of our way. The only thing is, is it will create another bottle neck at the next step: (

Now here is another twist. I cannot figure out. I sent in my packet in july but it arrived August 5. So technically i guess i am an august filer. That being said on igors there were about 15 people whose names were above mine. But now we are the sixth one down. What happened the the other 9 or 10??

Ha! I'm with you! My fiance told me to stop looking at this site for awhile because it drives me slightly mad...but it's seriously like an addiction...hoping, praying, wishing for any tiny bit of good news. Yep, Praying, lighting candles, positive thoughts...you name it! I just looked on Igor's list after reading this, and we've actually moved up to 298. I know it's silly, especially since we know it changes by the minute, but I keep hoping this forward trend continues. That is weird about the list changing, but maybe those people deleted their VJ accounts? Or maybe they changed their mind about the visa process? Hard to tell. So many possible options.

:rofl::rofl: guess what i've found when i checked my timeline's expected adjudication date.

"There are not enough recent approvals in the timeline system to accurately approximate when your I-129f will be approved. Please see the Timeline Stats page to see recent approvals."

even the VJ system/timeline is going crazy on the transfers, overdue approvals or the lack thereof.

or maybe they're cutting us some slack. by not providing expected adjudication date, they are temporarily shutting any sign of hope.

I'm seeing my fiance this November. He's coming back to the Philippines to visit me and our son. YEY! I'm gonna bend backwards if i have to just for us to afford that trip. I miss him to the core and I'm in the brink of insanity. lol We've already scrapped the initial New Year's day wedding and agreed on having it on Valentine's instead. Lesser expectations, lesser heartbreak! :ranting:

hang on guys. we're all in this together :crying::clock: :crying:

Yep thats all we can do is adjust our expectations and personal timelines and keep busy.

Unfortunately my fiancee have decided since i am going to take a couple of weeks vacation and go get her when the visa is approved we will not be visiting in between. Unless we figure out a way to do it at greatly reduced costs.

That cant be accurate because I know several June cases that were approved last week and a couple July that were not part of transfers....I think the majority of the information is guesstimations and not accurate and all of the June timelines I was following at CSC have been approved....I also have heard that TSC is not transferring anymore cases and it seems like the majority of cases that were transferred in August have been approved! I am still hopeful for an approval by the end of October :-)

W week ago my timeline estimated September 18-24, yesterday October 1-12 (I don't remember exactly) and today "There are not enough recent approvals in the timeline system to accurately approximate when your I-129f will be approved. Please see the Timeline Stats page to see recent approvals."

Yikes.

But remember this is not official....it is entirely based on people logging into the VJ forum and updating their timelines! The info they give us is 100% based on people updating their timelines and reporting when they receive their NOA2....many people stop updating for whatever reason.

Actually there was a end of June case, nontransferred, approved on 9/17.......most of the June filers were approved in August before the transferred cases were approved :-)

yeah what I am talking about is when you go to http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/ click on K1 Visa Timeline and then sort by clicking on NOA2, everyone of the recent back to 10 Sept. has been either a Texas approval or a transfer from Texas to CSC. if you filter on this spreadsheet by California service center there is only one approved on 9/17 and no other on it since 9/10

Granted a lot of people come on here pick people brains for ho to and to monitor stuff and soon as they get their NOA2 are gone or only come back to ask questions. they forget that if they feel out their timeline once a week it would help us and the system to give the rest of us better statistical data or better timelines.

when I see cases from May back with nothing after the NOA1, especially CSC cases I think there is now way that their is no that many cases on a forum that is an overall small percentage of actual filers, that is still waiting from Feb. march and such and the applicant has not even gotten an RFI or RFE.
