Hello guys! I received a text message today from USCIS confirming the receipt of my application form. Goodluck to everyone!

Please be sure to change your service center to CSC (Chicago goes to CSC) in your timeline. The notice (email) should have mentioned it was forwarded to CSC for processing and you were assigned a receipt number that begins with WAC. This is not a transfer. I mention this because so many people think they are being processed at the TSC because they sent their petition to the Texas lock box which is not the same and it grossly skews the timeline estimates for actual TSC filers.

A lot of yall have on your signatures that shortly after the acceptance, the Alien Registration Number changed... We havent received that yet, tht I know of? Would it have come through via email? Or how else would I know?

I received a text and email notifying me of the ARN change. The status still shows that as the last activity on the website.

If you register your SRC# online, if you haven't already, the status will (should) be available to you whenever you check your status.

In case you have not created an account with USCIS, you can do so here with your file number:

We have an account online and its on "Initial Review" we already have our NOA1 but have not heard anything else since then, thats why I was asking about the ARN change because I noticed the people who had it already, they got it shortly after the NOA1 and we havent heard anything new, so I was just curious. Thank you!!

Our attorney filed on July 11th.....Which is great, except that THEY receive all of the notifications, and not me, so I'm chomping at the bit to find out where its being routed to. Check cleared my account on Friday, so I know someone, somewhere, has it. Once I get NOA1 I'll be able to follow progress more readily. I know its going to be Texas, which is so disheartening.

My wonder is this. When reviewing timelines on here, there are quite a few that filed - and got Texas, not transferred - and had acceptances within 5-6 weeks, much like California is processing. What deems one application more readily approvable than another?

This wait is going to kill me!

Many of those are incorrect and are actually CSC filers that mistakenly put Texas because of the lock box location. Others would be Philippines expedites. Welcome to the dark side

Ah gotcha. Many lately have noticed the same issue with ARN change notices coming much later than usual. As busy and backlogged as TSC is right now, it would not surprise me if they are not bothering with online updates in many cases but the actual change probably took place. Several people are receiving NOA2's in the mail without ever seeing a change online also.

If after a couple more weeks, you still see no ARN change notice, you can always call them just to make sure nothing is wrong and give you peace of mind.

This is interesting. I received NOA1 on July 15, then early the 16th I received the text that the ARN was changed, also on the 15th.
