I know how hard it is for all of us to wait in limbo, so when even something tiny happens it feels like a small step towards the finish line. Last time I checked "Igor's List" we had dropped to 348. Just checked again, and now a week and a half later, we've moved up the list to 327. At least it is SOMETHING. Just in case some of you weren't checking that list, it might at least give you a little sense of encouragement that there is SOME movement in the right direction.

If you go up to the top of the page and click on "Immigration Timelines" you will see a link to "Igor's List," which is a compilations of VisaJourney Timeline Stats for the Last 12 Months. You can pick your filters, but the one I'm talking about shows the list of I-129F K1 Filers at the California Service Center. It tracks the dates of NOAs, etc. and follows the timelines to "approval." I'm not sure how accurate it is, or what it "really means," but honestly, at this point, I'm willing to hang onto anything that makes me feel like we're MOVING forward.

Ok I see and i fully understand the moving forward part.

I tell myself, my fiancee and co-workers (who I may mention are beingnkind and not telling me shut up when i mention it for the gazillionth time) ok well NOA2 today so we are one day closer. And on Saturday i sau ok we are one week closer. I do hate when I say one month closer though.

Every bit of motivation does help and stayong busy does too. I now spend several hours a day painting bought 9 gallons of paint. I told my fiancee she make all the changes she wants when she gets here but at least way she will habe a good base to start from. AND IT KEEPS ME BUSY : )

Hang in there...and remember there is support here (most of the time) for those of us who need to vent. My house is getting cleaner and more organized by the day. At this rate, by the time he gets to come out, it will look like a designer showcase! LOL Today, I got rid of a bunch of clothes I don't wear much anymore and made room in my closet for all his stuff, and that made me smile at the thought. Fingers crossed that the pace will pick up quickly.

I didn't even make the connection to follow the numbers in Igor's list! I'm so glad you mentioned it...it's nice to at least see some kind of movement, for sure. Thank you!

Hi All!

We mailed our package 14/7/14, and received NOA1 19/7/14. ARN changed on 21/7/14. We joined the TSC queue. Hopefully, our petition is approved before the year runs out. Goodluck to everyone!

Glad I could help in a little way! At #311, you're almost in the 200s! (it's like getting excited when you're losing weight, only for all of us we're excited about LOSING "WAIT") :dancing:

Like losing I can relate. I dropped 53 lbs this years. Amazing i did not feel fat but looked in the mirror one day and said dang dude you are fat. Now I wear a 34 waist pants again and they are a little lose on me.

But i think Igors list is like losing weoght because even though it is dropping it fluctuates. We were 342 on Igors list Yesterday and today we are number 345. I guess three more people joined VJ who had filed earlier and not received NOA2 thereby bumping up a lot of us.

Hopeful 4 Xmas - Congrats on losing 53 pounds! That's awesome (and no easy feat - trust me I know)! Now you'll start your married life off even healthier than before. As for Igor's list, yeah, after I wrote that post, I noticed we'd gone up a few spots too. Grrrrrr....Who knew my "losing WAIT" analogy would be so fitting. :( Ugh. Oh well, here's to hoping we wake up and find we've made up some ground tomorrow.

I guess, one of the few positives to waiting so long is having even more time to get in tip top shape for the wedding!

Have a great week, everyone.

Here's to hoping things pick up speed asap.

Remember Igor's List isnt very accurate.....it is all dependant on people updating their status on VJ....a lot of people get their NOA2 and just stop updating their timeline and stop coming onto the VJ website!

Frequently I check (as I'm sure many of us do) the immigration timelines for CSC, igor's list, and my own adjudication date. I've watched them get pushed back, jump forward, push back, and again jump forward. Today it just struck me as quite comical and I had to laugh! It used to frustrate and upset me in the beginning. Now I just find it funny. smh....or maybe I'm losing it already! lol

Yeah i think a lot of us are on the verge of losing. So much hinges on someone else's decision or interpetation of the info. In our packet. It also is dependant on someone deciding to complete our packet or doing just one more before going home that day or before going home the weekend. I just pray often and if a friend or neighbor inquires on the status, I just say same - same. When they ask of there is anything they can do, I say pray or wave your magic wand that the paperwork will be done quickly and accurately, personally I prefer prayers over magic tricks. : )

I agree! There is definitely a point where you have to laugh (in order to avoid crying). The processing dates update shows they are processing K1s from July 17th, so at least that is moving (a bit). Igor's list is all over the place...At this point, it continues to look like there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what's going on...and we are dealing with the government agencies, afterall! :( As for "losing it," I think we're all there with ya!

I'm with you on lots of prayers (and I'll also accep any combination of positive thoughts, magic wands, fairy dust, etc. as long as they're all wishing for a speedy approval). Miracles seem to happen for some couples...maybe we will all be blessed with some speedy approvals SOON!
