Sounds like you got NOA1. And are stuck in initial review like the most of us.

All packages go to Texas lock box and then to a processing center. csc is california processing center.

They must review the packet and if they have questions they will notify the petitioner by letter. They mist also run a background on the petitioner if they have any questions there they will advise by letter.

What gets me is when a person with USG clearances gets stuck in limbo land. There is nothing else for them to find out about that is not already there in the system. If i were a bad guy or anything in my life was at all questionable i would not the job i have. So my packet should be rubber stamped as soon as they pull up my SSN on the system and it should be off to the next step the day it is opened by the reviewer.

Yeah I did that to narrow down the averages for APPROVED to READY to ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING...just haven't asked anyone about ISSUED to IN HAND yet...lol

But....the key is to only go back within the last month for true accurate data/averages. Things change to often to rely on what happened more than 30 days ago!! ;)

Ah you email them or have her call.

I know my fiancee will have to travel by bus (switiching buses a couple of times each way) to go to jerusalem for medical and then for interview and probaly to pickup visa. Each trip is 2-3 hrs each way, plus costs, plus the loss of a days pays maybe two per trip if she cannot leave at a decent hour to return home before dark. She will have to spend the night at a friends in jerusalem.

Just hang in there guy i know the closer you get the harder it is but your wait is almost over

I hope we are not going to get RFE's and it just that our cases are on someones desk who is either behind or was on vacation or something.

As far as i could tell my packet was complete. I have went back over what i sent in 5 1/2 weeks ago. Who knows why some cases go through like lightning and others drag.

As far as the RFE goes... you wont know until it is looked at with the purpose of checking your information and approving the I-129F or not. If there is something not too serious missing you will (or should) get an RFE. The sooner you deal with it and return the requested info, the better. They should then take another look at it and make a decision within a fairly short time regarding approval or otherwise.

The wait time is pretty much down to whether you have an expedite for evacuation from a country following earthquake/severe weather causing serious danger to life; military deployment or other special circumstances giving your case some urgent priority. And there is also the processing speed difference between TSC or CSC.

You can get some indication from other cases that are similar to yours but applied earlier, but that's about it. No guarantees as to timing.

Not an easy time at all, so when people say to try and focus on other things and keep busy.. it definitely helps so I am... (but I do check my status almost every day even though I know we're a long way off)... :clock:

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

My fiancé requested to expedite due to his pending deployment on April 2014. He called the military hotline about 5 days ago but we haven't received any feedback from them whatsoever. They said they were going to call or email within 5 days but no feedback yet until now. Anyone here who requested for military expedite? Thanks.
