Hi all, wondering if any other July filers at CSC other than FamilyguyT :) have heard anything back regarding RFEs or NOA2s?

Thank you!!

We got our NOA2 in 21 days after NOA1.

BUT... we had our military expedite approved, as I'm due to get military orders with a November report date.

What boggles me is that for every step of the process, you've got to get a separate expedite request approved. Right now, we're in NVC receipt limbo, awaiting forwarding to the embassy.

I'm saddened to see the slow down at CSC for people, but encouraged that TSC filers are moving a bit faster.

We wish everyone the best! Waiting is absolutely the most difficult part!

7/25/2014 - I-129F Sent to Texas lockbox

7/31/2014 - NOA1 Text and Email

8/15/2014 - Military Expedite requested

8/19/2014 - ARN Changed

8/21/2014 - NOA2 Email/Text notification (Military Expedite Approved)

8/29/2014 - London Consulate Received

9/3/2014 - Military Expedite Requested (No reply)

9/17/2014 - Medical Appointment (Still no packet 3)

9/26/2014 - Contacted Ohio Congressman Turner for assistance

10/3/2014 - Congressional Inquiry got case expedited and interview scheduled

10/14/2014 - :dancing: Interview! :dancing: Approved!!!

10/23/2014 - Visa Issued

10/28/2014 - Visa Received by courier

10/29/2014 - Dasha Arrives in the US!!!!

Well no need for anyone to check th status now until Tuesday. Weekend os here and Monday is a Federal Holiday. The workers deserve a holiday weekend like the rest of us. But waiting for NOA2 Gets tougher evreryday. I just tell myself since we did not get an NOA2 today then at least we are day closer to getting it.

It the mean time we get ready for NOA2. So when I get the email or text message we and we pounce on it.

I update my financial statements, spreadsheet, form and employment letter (mine is automated bu the system and i can print it out from work daily if i want) weekly showing financial support.

My Fiancee contacted a friend who did a K1 a year in Israel. She said appointment necessary for medical exam simply walk in. She will call and verify.

I am cleaning and organizing stuff at home. Selling (selling off stuff no longer needed helps cover incidental and flight costs) donating or throwing out stuff making room for fiancee, I must stay busy plus it needs to be done and no reason to wait until the past minute. Fiancee works full time and sewing dressing on the side for extra cash to help cover our costs. Plus it keeps her busy. She packing, donating and spending time with friends so she will more fond memories and stay busy.

Thank you all for the replies about about you're spending your time apart!

We're about a month and 1/2 into the waiting process.. so yea, at least we're getting closer.

I'm really hoping it won't take the full 5 months..

I know this petition approval is only one step.. Does anyone know how the the full process might take, I mean at least approximately if things go smoothly? Would it likely vary based on the beneficiary's country?

I checked uscis today, the website drives me crazy, it never changes lol i'm going to practice self control and wait a week or until i get an email whichever comes first ^.~

happy waiting visa journeyers! all the days that have passed means we're that much closer to being reunited. <3

I think this is great advice...by focusing on gathering all the information we will need once we get the NOA2, we will finally be able to have "some control" over moving this process forward...FINALLY! Like you, I've started giving things away and trying to sell stuff to help pay towards our upcoming expenses. Since he's going to be giving up so much of his stuff to move here, I'm trying to move things around in our home to find spaces he can make his own, so he can find ways to feel like this is OUR place and not just mine. It's amazing how focusing on "getting ready" for his arrival has helped make the time pass a little faster (or at least make the waiting feel more positive because I'm realizing how much I need to do before he gets here permanently). I also find that by keeping busy getting our future home ready, I don't have as much time to obsess over the timeline. As you stated, at least every day we wait, is still a day CLOSER to our future together. Baby steps...
