Hey there - just back from 10 days with my finance. Doesn't look like too much has changed. Clearly the Tier 2 guy who implied an approval was coming soon - before Christmas - was full of hot air. I'm in the new space of just letting go to a process I can't control and praying that this broken system gets the attention it needs so everyone can get on with living their lives instead of watching them.

But you opened an inquiry, right? Because that's saying that your inquiry was assigned to an officer, not your petition.

Try not to let it get you down too much. I am quite impressed that you managed to get an inquiry through on a petition filed after the posted date. Lately, that is an achievement in itself.

Also, you are early July. Have a look at the June approvals. They are well on the way to being completed. It seems that at least 20% of the members on here who start their timeline, don't come back and complete it, so I believe that more approvals have been given than what we can see on Igor's list. Your month is next and you're right at the start of it.

I apologize if I got you down. I was just pointing out what that message really meant. And yes, I was equally impressed (and a bit confused) that you were able to submit an inquiry despite not being before the processing cutoff date.

And the second half of wbeem's message is exactly what I keep telling myself. I've seen several posters here post about their approvals but not update their timelines. It's a shame that not everybody feels like giving back to this site that has been so useful to them.

I had the same response to mine. Our NOA1 date is July 8 and I was able to get a Tier 2 to successfully open an inquiry for us right before Christmas. Ended up being closed out just after the New Year stating 'within processing times'. My tush you are TSC; if you're within processing times, I'm Santa Claus. :ranting:
