Will look into it thanks! Although I am certain that there have been notices issued at Texas to individuals on this forum that have filed after me. I guess this is not a science...

I think what you're seeing on this thread as TSC is people who think because they sent their petition to the Dallas Lockbox, that they are TSC, when in fact they are in the CSC jurisdiction. If you find a TSC thread for July you will be better advised... Unfortunately it is well behind CSC... but at least you will have a more realistic representation as to timings etc.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .
I-129F Sent : Jul 28 2014
TSC received: Aug 04 2014
I-129F NOA1 : Aug 06 2014
I-129F NOA2 : Feb 25 2015 (NOA2 copy rcd: Mar 02)

Sent to NVC: Mar 09 / Left NVC Apr 1 / Arr Embassy Apr 7 / Pkt 3 Rcd Apr 15 / Medical Apr 17 / Pkt 3 sent May 1 / Interview May 12

Left NZ May 15

Married Aug 10

Still waiting for NOA2, received NOA1 on the 17th of July. I guess it should be coming shortly?? When do I follow up with USCIS?

Very frustrating....

John

John - I hear ya! We got our NOA1 on the 31st of July, but there are a bunch of people a few days prior that have now gotten their NOA2, and a large amount of people who got their NOA1 in AUGUST. Incredibly frustrating and doesn't seem to make much sense. I'm wondering if our files got put on someone's desk who went on vacation (or works very slowly). The random timeframes are very strange. I've been put on hold a lot, and then have to hang up before anyone gets back to me, but I've had several people say they won't say much anyway because it "hasn't been 5 months." Good luck!!! Hoping for good news for all of us soon!

May I suggest everyone here who filed in July and early august and has not received an NOA2 all get together and call and politely let CSC know that, by talking to many, many others on a few forums you know many have already gotten their NOA2 's that filed after you did and think your files must have gotten assigned to someone who went out on a medical emergency or something.

If a bunch of people call and say we say people on these forum who filed after getting these notices we are concerned our files got lost or something, maybe someone will listen after a dozen call from different people.

Soooo true! Because it really does seem like something odd is amiss, especially with so many August filers getting through, but the late July filers are at a stand still. July filers, unite! Let's start shaking things up!

I think I'm going to wait until the 5 month mark which is less then 3 weeks away!! Hopefully by then I'll have some news to share with you guys!!! I'm holding on to faith and hope that the wheels are at least moving forward... albeit slowly!

Good luck everyone!!! I know this is a difficult process to endure. At least we're not alone in this ;)

We are working through our lawyer, but waiting on a confirmation for the medical exam appointment in Oslo, submitting the DS-160, and will be scheduling the interview at the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm. Affidavit of Support also completed. Everything looking good at this point for Christmas holidays together. Hope all you other July filers are progressing just as well.

Happy for those of you who are moving on through this process. We have stalled with no reasonable explanation. People who filed well after we did have gotten their NOA2 and we can't get anyone to give us a reason why because we're not past the magic 5 month mark yet. Now looking into me moving to Canada instead, especially since the job market in our economy is not nearly as strong as it is up in Alberta. Going to be a huge change for this Southern California/Arizona native...but I am willing to do anything to be with my guy. This red tape (and no reasons why it's moving so slowly for so many of us while others are zooming through) is getting beyond frustrating. Wishing you all the very best and hoping most of you are able to be together for the holiday season!

My heart goes out to you, your fiancé, and VJers in your situation. TSC filers also. It just makes no sense and there is no rhyme or reason to it. I would be beyond frustrated and highly PO'd if it were me. I was floored when I saw people getting NOA2 in 8 days. Are you kidding me....all the people waiting months and months!! There's a post about someone waiting 12mos for NOA2.

Yes I understand all the "reasons" security checks, etc but it's just not right. Our lives hang in the balance and it seems like no one cares but other VJers.

Best of luck to you! Everytime I see stories like yours I pray for you all!

I was explaining your situation and that of others to my fiancée and we both agreed it is very sad and wrong. We are hoping and praying you get your NOA2 soon as and you and your fiancée can move on with your life's.

You have our prayers and blessings. Wishing you the very best.

I have a notice date of Aug 6th . .I recently received an RFE and responded, but in my opinion this is taking way too long. I have seen many posts where people are ready to give up . . so am I. America is a nice place, but it doesn't compare to being with my fiance (no matter where we are). By the way, calling, sending letter, or anything else doesn't help. The US government has no concern for it's citizens or their relationships.

So, just a note to those who are still waiting and wondering why there are so many who have not had to wait: You're not alone. A message to those who were expedited, please post your influence, bribe, or trick . . . ignored, inquiring minds want to know.
