I don't think the average wait time is 7-8 months. I just don't think that the average wait time is currently 3-4 months either. Neither does USCIS who have just changed their average processing time from 5 months to 5.5. There is a backlog and that cannot be denied. They won't even accept service requests from people less that 6 months.

VJ is an unofficial website, is only used by a percentage of the people who actually apply for a visa, and nobody (neither you nor I) can use it as gospel.

Not sure what the point of this whole argument is. You've been approved and good luck to you. Many of us here have not received approvals. Some will think you are correct, some won't. I myself must be one of the 'unlucky ones' as you call it, because I am over 4 months so your claims don't apply to me anyway...no way you can be giving me false hope since I'm past your 3-4 months timeline.

Which ever way you wanna look at it, you are coming across as rude, arrogant and aggressive and I'm not gonna spend any more of my weekend debating with you.

USCIS is doing some CYA. I never denied there is a back log, I even said the average has gone from 80 days to almost 110, that is near a month added time. You also leave out my saying expect to wait 5 months.

The point was I was attacked and told everyone is waiting 7-8 months. I gave evidence that was not correct and was attacked again. I posted more facts .. facts ignored and attacked again. It seems unless I say TSC sucks and you should expect to wait a year then people will attack me regardless of whether I provide evidence.

At this point you are not unlucky .. you are still in the "normal' time frame. Hopefully you get yours soon.

Ok, look dude. I'm on my phone so I can't go to the actual site cuz it's not supported. Go to uscis website & go to where you check your status. At the bottom there's a link for the dashboard with statistics. Click on 1-129f and Texas service center. You can see that there are 10,000 petitions waiting & they get around 2500 a month. In April they processed less than 1000. Currently they do seem to be processing more, so we can only hope it'll creep back to 5 months or less, but that's a huge backlog & it started in December. There's proof. Most filers will get theirs in 5-6 months. Some will be more lucky, some less. I can only hope I'm one of the luckier ones.

But I'm not here to argue. Visajourney isn't facts & yes, much of the info is skewed. Many who claim to be tsc are not from states that file at the Texas service center. That's all I will say. Good luck on your journey.

I am the petitioner.

VisaJourney data is NOT fact. It is information input by MEMBERS who often make mistakes. It is in no way government affiliated. The only data that is FACT can be found on the USCIS website. Just because you were approved within a certain time frame doesn't mean everyone will be. When your petition was being processed, they were expediting every case from the Philippines whether you asked for it or not. They are not doing this anymore. So yes, you were lucky. If you would look at actual data and not VJ timelines you would know this. I don't understand why you are even trying to start an argument in the first place. Why does it matter to you? It is what it is and everyone has been trying to tell you this. You are mistaken...it happens...move on with you day.

Maybe I am aggressive because I have posted non stop actual VJ information. I just posted actual visas issues ONLY from TSC.

How about you actually look at my posts and links and dispute the facts rather than saying nener nener you are wrong.

Clearly they are not ONLY working on Dec. petitions as I have posted non stop that facts that prove otherwise.

The average wait for VJ users going from NOA1 to NOA2 in the past 3 months is 106 days. I proved it. No one has even tried to dispute my evidence .. they just say I am wrong while admitting my evidence is 100% rock solid.

A few people who are waiting a long time has nothing to do with what the average person can expect. It would be like taking your 11 day wait and saying everyone can expect to wait 11 days .. no .. it's an outlier.

Prove that the MAJORITY of people are waiting 7-8 months for a NOA2 or don't make the claim.

Uhm, can we all please slow down on this topic, and, most of all, drop the hostile tone ?

Although most of us are, indeed, concerned about processing delays at the various centers, there is no need to fight that battle here on VJ.

Just my EUR 0.05 (inflation..) ... I'm not a mod, just a reader and co-waiter... :(

I don't know that anyone has attacked you for the information you provided and I really don't think anyone truly believes the average time is 7-8 months for K-1 I-129f NOA2 approvals. I am sure you put together information that was as accurate as you could get with the information available but I do not see the same results if you filter out Philippines and CSC filers. I realize you state you did this but in the last example you provided (the 8 timelines from TSC) two were in fact California filers with incorrect Service centers. A 25% error which is pretty significant. I do not give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to filling out their timelines as you seem to be nice in doing. I am not attacking you by any means but you did provide 2 out of 8 that were incorrect in your findings so it is possible that more mistakes were made in your larger synopsis earlier (possible).

It is rather obvious to all of us that the wait times are significantly higher for those at the TSC (since Nov 2013) and the average appears to be (at a glance), 5 - 6 months. Since you are into stats, you understand that an average is based on a high (or series of highs) and a low (or a series of lows)...in this case 3 - 4 months would be based on a high (TSC) and a low (CSC) yes? Then you factor in variables like expedites, etc. and that throws the numbers all out of whack regardless of the center.

I am merely suggesting that the average you propose is hopeful, but I fear not very accurate for the folks at TSC. I am unsure as to where the 7-8 months came from, but if current trends continue and the backlogs continue to grow as they have been...it may not be that far from the truth in the not so distant future.....unfortunately.

If I have time this week or weekend, I will do some digging myself and see if my numbers come close to yours and if they do, I will be somewhat perturbed because I hate being above average in the negative sense :). What I will do, is remove all filers from the Philippines, all false transfers (easy to spot) and all false TSC filers based on their locations (also easy to spot) and see what I come up with. Wish me luck.
