No, you can't ask to change your service center. Unless USCIS decides to do so. Just like last year when some petitions got transfer from Vermont Service Center to the other service centers.

Know your enemy and know yourself and you can fight a hundred battles without disaster.Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat

There's no option for petitioners to request transfer of I-129f application to another service center, unfortunately.

Recent timelines show TSC processing times take about 6 - 8 months (from NOA1 to NOA2).

THANKS FOR THE ANSWER, I HAVE A CONFUSION, I SHOULD EXPECT 6 TO EIGHT MONTHS SINCE THEY SEND MY CASE TO TEXAS??

Ideally, I-129f processing time should be only 5 months. But currently, TSC has been having backlogs, and from what I have read they are recently processing December 2013 filers. That's about 7 months from NOA1.

You can probably check out your fellow April 2014 filers here for any progress: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/493636-april-2014-tsc-filers/

and here's another one: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/489205-april-2014-filers/

- Note: Disregard timelines of those processed through CSC.

My fiance and I RESUBMITTED the application in April. Resubmitted because we originally sent our packet in July 2013, and heard nothing at all for 7 months.. We could not follow up because we did not receive NOA1. I really thought our application got lost. Then in February of this year, we received a rejection notice. I thought we were denied and was so angry. Maybe... JUST MAYBE... Our application was on top of other April filers because of what happened to us... It was just a guess, I am assuming because mine got faster than other people.

Just think of this, your got your NOA1, meaning your application is in their office, and all you need to do is to wait and be patient..

It took us 2 months to get NOA2 from NOA1. We submitted the I-129 packet in April, June we had NOA2, and have the interview in September. I think people are putting too much stock in the few that are taking longer. My other half constantly talked about how long it would take, but when I looked at averages for TSC I told her we would get NOA2 in June ... and we did.

Our entire process from filing to Visa should take us 6 months.

You can check processing times, they have gone up a little, they are now about 3 months. This is only looking at recent history (past 3 months).

...yeah. No. Texas is still processing December & January & yelling at them when they try to file service requests. Look at the dec/jan tsc threads. And while you're at it check out March April & may tsc. No movement except for one random person each month.

I am the petitioner.

Are you saying you sent in a whole new petition this year, after having already sent one in last year? So you paid the $340.00 again and just pretended as if you had never sent in the first one? Did you have to disclose somewhere on the forms that you had already submitted a petition before?

Just wondering because I'm thinking of doing just that.

No they sent it back and we had to refile. The $340 was returned. You can not send in a 2nd petition if they are processing one, ours was rejected because of an out of date form. I think the form was good until 6/30 and we filled it out in June but sent it in June. So it was valid when we started filling it out, but was not valid when it arrived.

Threads do not represent the average person, they represent the unlucky ones. I gave a link to the actual averages, which are exactly what I stated they were. If you wish to ignore the facts you are welcome to, but I don't know why anyone would choose to be wrong.

All NOA2 in the past 90 days.

TSC - 106 days

All NOA2 in the past 180 days.

TSC - 83 days

Those are the factual averages from VJ users, can you dispute them with facts?
