why are they taking so long

why green card holder who are bringing people taking 7 to 8 month and us citizen are taking longer???? this makes no sence !!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me about it, soooo unfair?. Ours took 7 months for 1st approval now 5 months at NVC, called today have to wait another 30 days to get an answer for possible interview in Sept or Oct... ughhhh

If i'm not mistaken at the end of June residents' petition for immediate relative will take 2 years. Hopefully this will speed things up for the others. Not that I'm agaisnt reuniting with their family members, I just want to be first lol

Yeah but we had 3 freaking checklists, they lost my 2013 taxes had to resend with AOS all over again, then supposedly the birth and marriage certs were not legalized my husband had to resend those, so now it's another 30 days since 7/8/14 when they received the last things they requested. It's been rough, i thought we would have our date by this month or next, but looks like it'll be by Sept or Oct... uggghhh terrible
