At 39, men lose their sex appeal and become “invisible” to women, a new study conducted by Crown Clinic Manchester revealed.

With 1,000 people polled, 52 percent of participants and 62 percent of women said that men lose their sex appeal when they’re about to turn 40, according to the Daily Mail. The biggest sign of being “invisible” was not being eyed up or approached by women during a night on the town, according to 53 percent of participants.

Yep!

Prolly more to do with the fact that one assumes a man at 39 is married and thus on the hunt for a bit on the side, or is divorced and carrying lots of baggage.

That's why it is best to meet someone through friends or some kind of club ( and thus know background details) rather than hanging out at bars ( if one doesn't want just a one night stand).

My tastes are slightly exotic in that I fancy bearded, slightly rounded quasi-intellectuals with a penchant for punk rock and cheeses of the world. Life took off for me at age 46 in ways no one can imagine. I totally disagree with the OP and agree with you

It actually gets easier. Most of the men in the med-to late 40's group or either taken or F'ed up beyond hope. when you out there at the age with a good job, personality etc. easy pickings.

Okay, they were all horrible, and I ended up choosing the least worst of all of them. I got him in my CABA snare and keep him locked in the basement, where I occasionally throw him beef jerky and cans of Diet RC Cola.
