So its only a month to go until i visit my Fiancée in the states again and im a little nervous as its the first time ill be telling an officer at immigration that im engaged to an American woman! Ive read through the ''Yes you can visit'' thread already and my last visit gave me no trouble at all when i said i was visiting my girlfriend but id like to be prepared incase i am pulled for secondary questioning. i found some letter templates on VJ which seem to be more tailored towards supplementing other forms rather than just a proof of employment for the cbp, my question is does this letter need to include my returning dates to work and/or my salary as i work 2 part time jobs my salary isnt the biggest thus probably not worth declaring. Im also a little worried about proof of ties as i still live with my parents i cant provide leasing forms or anything like that, all i have are bank and credit card statements.

If anyone has any recent stories about being asked for proof at the border i would appreciate hearing them, i tend to worry about these things a little too much but with the slowdown at TSC the last thing id want is to be turned away at the border when im so close to my significant other!

Thanks VJers!
