Having a massive panic attack as I'm gathering all documents for my citizenship interview in two weeks I noticed my original form of entry is missing my visa waiver card no where to be found luckily I do have a copy of it is that good enougjt??

Well It happened exactly as I thought it would. I got put inline one month before I got scheduled and my schedule notification came two days before my 5 year GC anniversary.

That's great! I don't know what to expect since I've been a citizen for almost 8 years now. I guess it all comes down to priority date, since yours was before mine, even though I've been in line for interview longer. Oh well, I just hope to hear something soon! I'm really happy for all of us here and I'm glad I'll get the scoop about the interview before I go in!!

Lisa, I'm not familiar with that so I don't know what to tell you. If you have a copy, bring it. What else could you do about it?

Btw, are we supposed to bring our conditional green card as well (for those of us who applied based on marriage)?

Also received my interview letter today - its 9/23. Hoping I can find out (pending me passing) there when my oath date might be as I need to book a trip for end of October but want to wait until this is all done.

Lisa - all I will be taking is State ID, Green Card and my UK passport. Hopefully that helps?

Looks like the April filers have their interview at the end of August, May filers at the end of September so I wonder if mine will be at the end of October. It also seems like they are all on the same day. Sam, would you mind sharing the day of your interview? Is it the same as Carly?

Carly, maybe Lisa can tell us what she found out about her oath after her interview next week. Then we will all have a better idea!

Had my interview this morning scheduled for 8:30 didnt get called up until 8:55 interview took about 20 mins.

& PASSED!!!! APPROVED!!! WOoooohooo

the IO said I'll probably get my oath ceremony letter in the mail in a week or two :-)

Had my interview yesterday and this morning at about 7am recieved a text from USICS

saying " On August 27, 2014, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location"

My interview was yesterday. The egzam was really easy.

After the interview the officer give mr a paper saying that decision can't be made and that I will receive n-14 form. Im really stressed out and dont know what to think.

How long will I be waiting now ; ((

I'm so sorry to hear about what happened. Why are they questioning your marriage? Do you know what type of documents they will be asking you for? Was the officer polite? I really hope you find out soon what's going on. Good luck with everything!

Sorry for not sharing my interview experience with you guys right away.... the day after my interview appointment yesterday 8/27 we found out were expecting!!! I'm PREGNANT!!! :-)
its been an awsome week !

Here is my Chicago interview experience

Appt was at 8:30 we were in the builiding by 8am didnt get called up until 8:55

The IO Officer was super friendly i was very foruntate to get a nice IO some of the other ones there were in bad moods and super rude.
He took my green card passport and social secuirty card made copies of those started the test I dont remember all the questions here are the ones i do remember

* Current polictical party of the US President?
* What are the two political parties in the US ?
* Name 3 of the 13 orginal colonies?
* Ocean on the West Coast?
* One state that borders Mexico?

Then he had me read Who Votes Congress and write the answer.

He told me I passed the Civis and English test

went over the application , had me sign my name on my passport style pictures with a sharpie.

signed all the documents and that's it!
Now just waiting for my ceremony date.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT HAD YOUR APPOINTMENTS YET!!!!!!
