CHICAGO N-400 procesing time

I haven't been to the mailbox yet this week but today when I went I found two letter from uscis first one said I was scheduled for interview August 25 woohoo all excited!!! THEN.... I open the second letter and what do you know it says due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to cancel the previously scheduled interview we wil advise you of any further action taken on this case including any rescheduled interview information

Notice date is July 21 on this letter but on July 22 I recieved a text saying that I'm scheduled for an interview so Im guessing I will be getting my final and new interview notice sometime this or Next week hopefully!

11/09/2010- Sent out I485, I-130, I-765 Applications Chicago Office11/14/2010- USCIS recieved my applications11/18/2010- Received Receipts11/29/2010- Received my biometrics appointment scheduled for 12/17/201012/17/2010- Biometrics Done01/07/2011- Interview Scheduled for Feb 7th.01/21/2011- Received Email saying EAD card production01/26/2011- Received Email again saying EAD card production01/31/2011- Received EAD Card in the Mail02/07/2011- AOS Interview - Green Card Approved!!!!02/08/2011- Received Email Card/Document Production11/30/2012- Mailed out I-75112/07/2012- Received NOA12/11/2012- Received Biometric Appointment letter

Yayyy! Congratulations! I just saw another filer from April that was scheduled for interview a couple days before you, even though that person filed a month before you!

Congrats to Lisa and Alice on your upcoming interviews!!

Now carly and I are playing the waiting game. Hopefully we'll get some news in the next few weeks.

It's interesting how 3 applicants from April are having their interviews on the exact same day. It makes me wonder how often they do citizenship interviews here in Chicago.

They don't do same day interview and oath ceremonies here in Chicago. But they usually have two oath ceremonies a week. If only people would update their timelines, we would have a better idea how quickly oaths are scheduled after the interview.

I'm still waiting. Hopefully I'll hear something soon! Thanks for keeping us posted. I've been so busy with the children and back to school stuff that I've been checking my status very randomly (which can be a good thing!). But now I'll be in the lookout!

Well It happened exactly as I thought it would. I got put inline one month before I got scheduled and my schedule notification came two days before my 5 year GC anniversary.
