Hello VJers,

I am on current F-1 student visa and am preparing the I-130 and AOS application after getting married. I plan to submit the application by the end of July, I plan to make a trip back home for a short visit (probbably less than 1 month) because my dad is ill.

My understanding is I need to wait until my biometrics is completed before I make the trip. So what should I do when I filling out the !-131?

1) In Part 2. Application Type - I checked I am "1d. I am applying for an Advance Parole Document to allow me to return to the US after temporary forerign travel." Right?

2) In Part 3. Processing Information - I don't have a date of intended departure, since I need to wait for biometrics. Should I still put a date on it or leave it blank?

3) Do I need to fill out Part 7. "Complete Only If applying for Advance Parole."? If so, if I plan to make more than one trip, do I need to state all the detail in the supplemental document for Part 7?

One last random question, for I693 Medical exam, do I need to complete it when I submit my AOS or I should wait until USCIS send me an RFE and then do it? I saw different things so I am not 100% sure what to do.

Thank you very much in advance for any assistance.

Have a great day!
