Form listening to it he was not using temperature as a number but as a concept "temperature here is the same as temperature there". He was trying to say that knowledge of climate garnered from mars gives no lessons to climate here.. He is wrong but not in the same class as the guy thinking an island is going to capsize.

In the shower it occurred to me.. He also got the wrong planet. It was Venus where scientists observed the greenhouse effect from CO2

It's a tough call, but of one thing I am sure: America has a healthy supply of morons who are in office, and a greater supply who are willing to vote those morons in.

I tend to think it's the smartest politicians who've done the most long-term damage to this nation.

FWIW I voted for the Guam guy. I can forgive you for not knowing about other planets, but to not know the planet you live on? Unforgivable.
