Form listening to it he was not using temperature as a number but as a concept "temperature here is the same as temperature there". He was trying to say that knowledge of climate garnered from mars gives no lessons to climate here.. He is wrong but not in the same class as the guy thinking an island is going to capsize.

In the shower it occurred to me.. He also got the wrong planet. It was Venus where scientists observed the greenhouse effect from CO2

Edit: I'm spending too much time thinking about this place today..

Ugh, I have no idea which one is a dumb and a dumber. If all politicians like these no wonder the country would be lost in the future.
