Need Advice! Traveling in-between jobs, AOS pending

^{I am currently on an L1A visa but am in the process of Adjusting my status to marriage based green card as my husband is an american citizen. My green card interview is August 1st and I have actually accepted a new job starting August 4th. I am ending my role with my current company on July 18th and I know that this will effectively end my L1A status. I received my EAD and AP. Can I go back to Canada for a week after I end my current job, before starting my new one?}
