So what colour is the victim, presumably black as it was not mentioned.

They took six days to release his name because they could not reach the family.. I would assume he was homeless since it took so long but then they knew his age and that his birthday was two days after he was murdered so he at least had ID with him.. Most of the comments from San Antonio are critical of the press for waiting days to report it and trying to cover up "black on white" crime.. but I have not seen any confirmation of the victims color. The victims name was "Joesph Kieth Richard" which is unfortunate when trying to do a lookup on google.

There is a video of the murder - I tried to find it on liveleak but it does not look like it has been released yet.

I would guess the opposite. He clearly did it, the victim did nothing to cause it, and there is no realistic way for him to get off so no controversy to keep it alive. It is too black and white (nothing intended) for any meaningful ongoing conversation so I think this just goes away other than some local coverage... Unless the witnesses that stood around and did nothing turn out to be illegal aliens then it blows up sky high.
