No one knows yet how this act will affect applicants to immigrate to the US

re: medical decisions...I don't see the US being accommodating very soon

to this new law USCIS & DOS is Federal... although some state have legalized

weed the Federal agencies R not on board.

As of 4th july Jamaicans R allowed 3 ozs of marijuana legally, it will be illegal

to smoke in non smoking areas, near schools & establishments that does

not allow it.. :ot: ....I wonder where ppl will buy it if only 3 ozs R allowed

Will sellers be at risks to be arrested...caught with over that amt its still illegal.

Those with ganga sentences amounting to 3 ozs or less can have this record expunged

they will have to apply for expungements & decisions R discretionary. example: if held

with that amt and another drug, or a weapon. that weed charge will not be expunged.

No one knows how this will affect a person with only a spilff/joint charge, but fingerprint

will be removed from expunged police records, it may be a ray of hope for the past spliff smoker

caught once....I suspect they'll be more fine-tuning to this & of course things moves slow in JA
