If at NVC and everything is in order , he'll probably get

a date soon after its sent to Kingston..he can get an

expedited PP in 3 days and Police record expedited in

a wk....If he has an atty they will get the date or you.

U can get info by calling NVC also. He will need 6 photos for

medical & interview also his vaccine card at the medical

visit prior to interview, so he needs to start the ball rolling,

he should stay away from ppl who smokes weed as it cant

be in his system, and if he need to have birth-certificate

correction done on name he should know it will take some

time and cost some money...wishing U both well

You can actually get a police record in one day, but its more expensive. He's also going to need a non impediment form from the Registrars General office and it takes a week as well.

In regards to the interview letter, they sent ours by mail last year. He was deemed ineligible for a year. We just got another interview by email. I don't know if they've change their system or its just our particular circumstance.

Best of luck! You can't do all this by yourself

Yes, you will be arguing, cause our JA folks and their irie attitude about important stuff will not change. We have all gone through the same arguments. LBVS.

With the changes in processing, JA is moving to more electronic communication, and delivery of documents. In order for interview to be scheduled you need to complete DS-160 and then e-mail embassy attaching the info.

Yes he can but he has this way of making me mad and happy at the same time cause he's soooo HOPELESS. . God I love dat man...lol..

I know the feeling!!

I was just in Jamaica and went with my fiance to obtain his police record. We went to the police station in Clarendon where he is from. There were only two options available per the people there (and per the notice hung on the front door) .... 7 days through the mail $6,000ja or 21 days through the mail $3,000ja. He did not need his passport, only an ID and 2 passport photos. You pay the fee at the Tax office then take that receipt to the police station. It took us a good part of the morning to complete. They will tell you what it shows but if there is an option to obtain it that same day it was not offered to us. However, it may be possible different police stations do things differently.
