Requesting a transfer from a service centre?

Hi all,

Firstly, I'm sorry if this has been covered, I couldn't find anything specific when searching...

Basically, I am wondering if it's possible to request a transfer from one service centre to another. We have a May 2014 NOA1 date for the K1 application and our case is at Texas. Now the processing times for Texas have been moving so slowly according to this site whereas Cali seems to be flying along...

Is it a) possible to request they transfer our case and b) is it a good idea to do so? I guess I'm just being impatient but it's immensely frustrating (as I'm sure it is for everyone) to see other service centres processing NOA1 dates of much more recently than ours...

Any advice welcome

Thanks

Keith

No. You can't. USCIS decides which service centers your I-129F is processing. There are a lot people here waiting longer than you.

Sure you can request it. They'll put the request in your file, when they finally get around to adjudicating it, they'll instead forward it on to CSC and you can start from scratch there.

Just joking of course, they'd more likely just put your request into the circular file cabinet.

Ok, I guess it was worth a shot... I realise there are people waiting a lot longer and I'm sure they are more frustrated than I am. Just a thought was all. Near mind

Thanks
