Which vaccinations are needed - Examination necessary?

My now wife and step-daughter went through the medical examination in Guangzhou, China for their K1 and K2 visa. I realize that a civil surgeon has to fill out the I-693 form but is another medical examination necessary?

What is needed by the civil surgeon, just the vaccination records? I can easily get that from the health department as they didn't bring the vaccination records with them.

Also, which vaccinations are necessary for the form I-693? I can take them to the health clinic and get the shots for free or at a very reduced rate.

usually MMR, TD, and varicella for ages 18 to 64, for the I693A. (Make sure when you are getting quotes that they are aware it is only the vaccination supplement (I693A)you need, as opposed to the I693 (which is the full medical). If out of this age bracket then you might need hep B (younger), the flu shot (older).

The US consulate british website I think has a list with age specifics on it.

Claudeth had to get a tetanus shot when we got the supplemental because the hospital where she had her medical didn't have it.
