He did mention that when i receive appoint letter it will be via email. So i just made sure my email was there.

What i asked him: if next month visa bulliten comes out and my priority becomes current if then we will get appointment letter and he said yes.

In your opinion when do you think we will receive appointment letter?

In my opinion, I think you'll receive your interview letter in your e-mail Inbox either at the end of May or at the end of June.

However, I hope I'm wrong and you actually receive it at the end of this month :)

I know its a weird question, for F2b did u petition or did ur husband?

I was reading your timeline ,for F2A your were asked for DNA test, I heard they ask for DNA only if petitioner is father.

your answer will be appreciated

Finally i got OPT-OUT approval letter from DHS; Nobody knows what is this way, and i recommend nobody put in this way, otherwise will be ###### in jurisdiction systems and maybe lost his/her PD and visa on hold, i'm the first Iranian which do OPT-OUT in company with this damn approval letter with DHS signature.

I recommend if Petitioner is F1 or going to be converted to F1, follow its category and do not Opt-Out back to F2B in order to sooner reach visa.

Special Thanks to the Philipino and Indians who guide me to the right way.

God bless those people.

You did opt-out successfully, to stay in F2B category, which moves faster(!) but recommend not to do that for others? Interesting:-) wonder why?

About losing PD, how is that possible? I think, you are spreading desinformation.

Good day.

Good day.

Its hard to remind CSPA rule to the field officers of DHS, moreover after convincing that such a rule exist, you have to wait for a long time to get approval letter, besides Informing NVC, etc....

plus whenever you get opt-out letter its the beginning of the way; i don not recommend it for whom don't know the ways clearly.

Best

Anjum,

Are you a father or mother? Why would your children needs your birth certificate and marriage certificate? Did any of your children needs to go to DNA test?

sap,

I am mother and petitioner for my child cases, Basically my husband has already been passed away in August 2003 and i am mother of four children in which two daughters and one son is step that from my husband and his first wife and fourth one is my biological daughter that born on 1996 after i married him on 1995.My husband first wife is the biological mother of two daughter and one son that i mention above but after death of his first wife he married me at that time both three children are very young so i take care of them before and after the death of my husband that is why counselor little bit confuse of this situation so for clarifying the relation they ask us for DNA test. After receiving DNA test result they confirm the relation and provide us VISA.

one more thing you need to ask me after this information "So whom did apply for me for USA Visa" and answer is my elder step daughter (My husband first wife daughter) that going to USA after her marriage but she didn't apply for her younger sister and brother because time frame is too much high for (F4 category)that is why i apply for my two daughters and one son in which two are step and one is biological .My whole family lives in USA except my step Son that is the last member of my house and InshAllah after getting Visa he also lived with us.

Hi everyone!

My brother's priority date is JULY 31, 2007, I called NVC yesterday and case was completed last Thursday, now waiting for interview letter until priority date is current. Visa bulletin for the month of August is showing JUL.1 2007, so I am guessing to hear from NVC on or before September. :innocent:

Has anyone in the F2B category with a priority date of September 2009 or October 2009 received their interview or appointment letter?

Please be so kind as to let us know.

Thank you!

Thank you and good luck. I was unaware that you can bring non biological children on F2B. I thought if biological father is no longer alive then you're out of luck. Keep us posted on May 2nd interview.

I think they should start going out soon, if priority date is moving.
