I'm curious about this too - I'm filing opt-out, I'm out of the country.

I haven't gotten an update from NVC that our case has changed category, I'm just being preemptive and request we stay in the F2B category.

Hello everyone ! I need to ask a question urgently! If my mother and father don't work im depending solely on a joint sponsor as they make 0$ income my mom who js the petitioner sent the i864 to the nvc so should my father also send an i864a !? Provided that i got a case complete already i just heard that at interview they could ask you for other things!

My Priority Date is "27th July 2009"

Category "F2B"

It seems to be that next visa bulletin will moves 2 months a head in F2B CATEGORY because some of my fellows whose priority date is August 2009 also got interview letters.

Hey everyone.My priority date is the 26 Oct,2009.I will be going to collect my packet tomorrow at the post office.And I will let you know when Wil be the interview date.

I have submitted so many documents such as

1:- attested copy of Birth Certificate

2:- copy of the Green card

3:- Original "B - Form"

4:- . Attested copy of Marriage Certificate with a copy of attested true translation in English

5:- Family Pictures

6:- Affidavit

7:- Birthday Cards

So many other documents as well that's related to my Son. Complete Documents package weight is approximately 1 KG.

Unfortunately it wasn't our interview letter!!This letter was dated since last year July 2015 and apparently it strayed and went to panama!!

This letter was for us to choose an agent,Aos etc.

I called the NVC and the guy that i spoke to said the letter should be disregarded because all documents were sent in and our case has already been completed.He said the only thing we should be waiting on now is the appointment letter.He said i would have to wait for our priority to become current before we get appointment letter.

What was puzzling to me was that he said they are working on visas for June 2009!! I don't understand!!

I just want this to be over!!

I thought that interview letters come via e-mail nowadays so I thought it was strange that you had to go to the post office to pick up this packet. Thank you for clearing that up.

What the guy told you is the truth, they are working on visas for those with priority date June 2009. The April visa bulletin shows June 2009 and we're still in April.

I think a batch of interview letters go out to petitioners and beneficiaries at the end of this month and the beginning of next month.

He did mention that when i receive appoint letter it will be via email.So i just made sure my email was there.

What i asked him: if next month visa bulliten comes out and my priority becomes current if then we will get appointment letter and he said yes.

In your opinion when do you think we will receive appointment letter?
