Thank you :) Will ask my dad to send the case number to me when they get back. May I ask please what are the calls and attorney for? Like follow up the visa processing? Will the latter fasten the processing? Will it cost me to get an attorney for this? Im really sorry for all the questions Maam, i am trying to get all the info I can since my parents have little patience in reading info like this, so I just tell them all this.

Does anyone know what's going on with VSC.. My in-law applied the I-130 for 21 years old son in 2013 and VSC still stuck at 2012 while others processing center are doing within 5 months. We applied from Chicago since we were living in chicago at that time.

Who knows? The good thing is that the NVC is currently processing 2009 I-130 forms so the fact that the USCIS hasn't approved your in-laws' 2013 I-130 form doesn't affect your in-laws or their son at all.

You need to contact NVC or local DHS department.

This is the process in India. I got below response when I inquired about Opt-out request.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for your inquiry.

All opt out requests must be signed and submitted to USCIS in writing. Requests may be submitted by mail to the following address:

Your opt out request must include a copy of the approval notice for the petition, proof that the petitioner has naturalized, a letter containing a request to opt out of automatic conversion, and any other documentation that may be relevant to your request.

If you have an attorney or representative submit the request on your behalf, the request must include a signed G-28.

I need some help. Can anyone advise me what to do? I received a checlist from NVC stating that I need to submit a birth certificate with both parents names on it. I went to enquire at the RGD but they say I cannot obtain it without my father's signature. The problem is I dont know where he is.

There must be another way to deal with it anyone?????
