Hello everyone,

Today we received an email from Delhi consulate to schedule OFC interview for by brother (applicant) prior to consulate interview which is on 3rd dec.

Can anyone please share their experience of OFC interview here? I was unable to find any posts related to OFC (heard it today for the first time).

Although, We have scheduled OFC interview on 27th Nov, is it too many days between OFC and consulate interview?

I mean and hope you will get interview letter by end of this month or early next month but interview date will be in December 2015. This is based on all the cases I have watching.

I have an interview on Friday. Any possible questions and how can I avoid DNA test too because I can't afford to wait anymore?

I think you are confused, have you paid the $120 for the i864 affidavit of support?

the $165 for the physical green card is only paid after you have your interview and get your visa

for now you only have to pay the $120 for the affidavit of support and $325 for the DS260

Your PD is July 2009?

It looks like for Jan 2016, the visa bulletin has visas for those who have an earlier PD than April 2009.

So, it looks like you'll need to wait until the PD is current to interview.

Seems like you need to wait about 4 months if the current visa bulletin advances only by one month. Hopefully, it advances by more.

I also don't think they schedule the interview until the PD is current so if they schedule it in 4 months, then the interview most likely won't happen until 5-6 months.

My priority date is 26th Oct,2009.How long do they actually take to give you interview date?I live in Guyana.My category is F2B.

you''ll have to wait until your priority date becomes current, check the visa bulletin every month

for January, there are visas available for those whose priority date is April 9th and before

so depending on the movement of the visa bulletin , it can be a few months
