My daughter's priority date January 04, 2015.

Today AOS Document went from paid to N/A

I also received the confirmation from NVC regarding this that they will inform us as soon as interview has been scheduled.

My expectations

We should receive the interview date for October 2015 and should receive the letter by September 2015 after October visa bulletin has been published saying Priority date will be current in October 2015.

Please pray that September 2015 visa bulletin moves by 4 weeks and October 2015 moves by atleast 3 weeks so that her priority date is current for the month of October 2015 in September 2015 bulletin.

Here are the predictions for September month.

http://blog.mygcvisa.com/

I pray that it must move at least a month and a week. Otherwise, I will be left by merely 2 days if it will move a month this time. I don't wanna celebrate this Diwali in India anymore, please god help :(

Hello.

I have a question.

My mother would like to bring my 25 year old, unmarried son to the U.S. but she is only a permanent resident. My brother as well as my mother is from El Salvador.

My brother would fall onto the F2b visa category as an unmarried, above 21 years old, son.

I notice that the priority date on the visa bulletin is November 2008.

from 2008 to 2015 there are 7 years in between.

Does this mean that our case is going to take about 7 years to be process?

thank you for your kind answers.

Not certain. Nobody can tell you exactly, its a very long spectrum to forecast the future movements and waiting times.

Few years back when my father applied in 2008, the waiting times were about 8-9 years in F2b. Now, its reduced to 7 and I think in future there won't be many applicants waiting down the line under F1 and F2B because these applicants are mostly those children who gt left behind under F3 and F4 categories as a derivative beneficiary due to age limitation.

Nowadays, USCIS doesnt approve petitions like F3 & F4 immediately to cope up with the problem of age limitation rule. I have seen many applicants in F4 forum where cases gt approval after 6-7 years later which actually helping out those, whose children are going to be over 21 soon. In this way it helps them to buy 6-7 years more after becomes 21.

These Unmarried Son & Daughter under F2B and F1 are no one but those who got rejected due to age limitation of 21. I strongly believe that there will be lesser waiting times in future under F1 and F2B categories. Moreover, after introducing the immigration reform govt. seeks to reducing waiting times in all categories and they have planned to streamline the immigration process efficiently and soon it will be seen in Visa Bulletins after few years.

Right now, all you need to do is simply file an I-130 petition and tell ur mother to apply asap. Don't wait for any advice, its simple FIFO process (First In First out) and there is not even a single exemption to this rule. USCIS follows this rule very very strictly and no request could help out anyone in this manner. El Salvador's waiting times is not great like Mexico and Philippines, rest you need to wait and watch for some years.

At last, don't think about waiting times and just do it. Leave it to god's will and keep cheering up your brother and be in touch with him and give him some hopes to fight during bad days. We all have been through that phase and trust me this journey is very very painful, full of sacrifices and especially emotional breakdown.

Wish you and your family a good luck, and don't hesitate to put questions on VisaJourney.com because this platform has helped million lives in this world.

Hope it helps :)

Hi every one,

I would appreciate any help regarding my sister's case:

I understand that we have to wait for the priority date to become current, but when do they start the pre processing? We haven't received anything as of yet. I have tried to contact the NVC but wasn't successful. Please do let me know me if i need to do something.

Dear KUSPAT9,

Please be so kind as to confirm that your brother's priority date is in fact February 19, 2010 and that your brother's category is in fact F2B.

There are thousands of people in F2B category with 2009 priority dates who have not received any communication from NVC. So reading your post might affect their emotional state :joy:

Thank you so much!

You should call NVC as soon as possible to find out wnen NVC send you the welcome letter. I know someone from this forum with pd of June 2009 who was told by the NVC person ( when he himself called NVC) that NVC will send him the welcome letter in 28 days. So my thoughts to you is to call NVC as soon as possible
