Visa bulletin is out F2B moved 4 weeks to 15th October 2008 after no move in last month

Barely a move, yet again :(

What slight hope I had about my PD probably being current by May 2016 has been dashed :/

Thanks Phoenyxx! :dancing: Im thrilled to bits!

Here is a quick update on my son's case:

He registered online through traveldocs.com India. Had his medical scheduled for 17 June and he gets the reports in 2 days. He has to take his P4 interview letter, 3 photographs, passport, & old medical records with vaccination details with him.

Biometrics appointment on 22 June. After that he is ready for interview on 27 July at 8.30 am. His tickets are for 8 Aug and he touches down at SFO 9 Aug at 7.30 am.

Of course, the tension has not gone off completely, but Im definitely much happier now. :)

Thank you all once again, hoping and praying for all my friends here.... I will post his interview experience here later. Good Luck !

Chubbs,

Best of luck. Please pray for my daughter.

Thanks Hamida, you all are always in my prayers... as I said I will never forget the pain we went through when my son was denied visa at 21. So don't worry this will also pass and she will join you in good time.

GREAT!!

Glad to know that your son is gonna land at SFO, me too will enter from there. I think you must live in Bay area :)

Anyways, I always thought that the medical is done just a week before the interview but by seeing ur post, they have scheduled a month in advance for ur son. But, its good to have a report in hands on time... pretty good time in this case.

Tension days are just gone away for ur family. Cheer up and start making arrangements for one fat welcome party in US.:thumbs:

Dont worry, everything will be fine. From October there will be a fresh quota get poured into the process as 2016 numbers will added up to boost the processing speed. We have been waiting for ages, and now its just a matter of months.

By the way, is ur case got completed?? Whats the status right now??

Hey Puru,

I am at Fresno CA and we like travel via SFO best, hate LA ;) its so crowded!

After we received P4, they said we could schedule the medical examination and when my son called the doctor's office, they gave him an early date. The rains in Mumbai are on, and its pouring, you never know when the city will come to a standstill. So I advised him to finish all the procedures early.

And yes, Im so happy... just want to see him set foot here. :D

And yes, with October and the new financial year nearing, you guys can take heart as the queues will start moving again!!

Good day everyone!

What is the processing timeframe to get an interview date. I sent my sibling's AOS along with IV packet a month ago.

I have not receive any checklist from NVC so far. I'm concern that it may take more than 6 months and my sister is 12 weeks pregnant.

Last time, when I processed my dad's papers. It took him almost 2 months to get an interview date. Was wondering if it's going to be the same?

Hi Again,

I have a question regarding Police clearance certificate.

Can beneficiary provide Police clearance certificate at the time of Interview or does he need to send it along with AOS package?

All other documents are ready except Police clearance(which will take few weeks to collect in Punjab, India) that is why we want to send the package first to NVC.

Is that ok to send package without police clearance?

Hi,

Is there any seperate Document cover sheet for Beneficiary's Civil Documents?

The only Document Cover Sheet I have filled out is the one where it is asked to mark the checkbox under Enclosed, Unavailable or not applicable. I have used it for Petitioner and Beneficiary documents.

Pls. suggest if is the correct docuemtn sheet or not?

Thanks
