it depends, they have quota limit per country for each category, sometimes it doesn't apply to F2A category.

Two days AFTER the interview (March 8th) the status chaged to ISSUED. Thanks be to God! 7.5 years waiting to reunite with my son!

My son is over 21, unmarried. We reverted back to F2B as the PD were advanicng faster than F1.

There's no age limit.  Beneficiary can be age 101 and still get the visa.

Wrong on everything. The petitioner will sill need to be alive with a F2B beneficiary at age 101. That won't happen.
