This is me. Finally entered the US in the status of a lawful permanent resident.

Nov 13th - had my interview. visa approved.

Nov 14th - CEAC status went to ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING, I started freaking out, but it ended up changing to ISSUED early morning of November 15th (so don't freak out if your case goes to ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING after you've been approved, most likely it's the processing associated with printing of your visa)

Nov 15th - picked up my passport

Nov 16th - entered the US through POE

Hi! Can i seek some help or advice here?

Its my niece case. Her LPR mom Filed 1-30 for her. PD: Oct 12,  2016. She was 20 that time. Got approved Oct 23, 2017(still 20th). Will be turning 21st On December 19, 2017.

November 29, 2017 got a letter from NVC saying that she is under F2B and no visa available yet for her.

We are just wondering why she had to be under F2B when she’s just 20 yr old upon approval.

Does anyone can explain or help? Thank you

Definitely call NVC and ask them to clarify for you. It seems to me she should have been classified as F2A. But if so, they should be able to sort it out for you. From the current Visa Bulletin it seems like they have just reached OCTOBER 8, 2016 PD for December bulletin for F2A.
