We are waiting for the interview for my son. His PD is Dec 2011 F2B. Got the CC letter saying he is in queue for interview, but his PD isn't current until NOV 1. I called NVC two weeks ago and they said to wait a couple of weeks. I'm gonna call again today and see if I can get an interview date from them.

I think upto 31 oct they will work on 22 nov 2011 and after 1 nov to 5 nov they start working on more pd so we all need to call nvc from tomorrow as per my thinking

Hi guys,

I just looked at the NOA1 (RECEIPT) again and found out that California Service Center is the office that issued this Notice. Is it normal since the applicant is in/from Texas?

I called just now. No interview yet BUT she explained, since we requested to OPT OUT of F1 in August, were approved on Sept 28, 2018, that is the date we have for CC and when the case got in line for an interview. So they are scheduling appointments right now for December (Paris Embassy) and we are still in line. No clue as to when we might get the interview but she did say it could be a couple of months.

In conclusion: If you file to OPT OUT your CC changes to the day the case closes once again on NVC's side.

Also: no wait time on the phone at this hour. (8:30 am ET)

Our PD is Dec 12, 2011 but the Case Closed is Sept 28, 2018.
