Hi, I'm from the Philippines and currently the PD for F2B is 01JUL06. My PD is 15FEB2007 last month's PD is 01JAN07 does this mean I will wait again from JUL06 up to JAN07 for my PD to be current? I'm confuse why the PD for Philippines moves backwards.

Yes, you must wait from 01JUL06 till your PD will become current.

The Philippines F1 and F2B final action dates had been advanced very rapidly during the course of the past year in an effort to generate sufficient demand to fully utilize all available numbers. The level of such demand has reached a point where it has become necessary to retrogress each of those final action dates in an effort to hold number use within the annual limit for these preference categories.

No, it wasn't always moving slowly, but the last year it slowed down. It must be due to many reasons:

1. Higher applicant demand;

2. More opt-outs from F1 to F2B (as we all know, that F2B was moving forward faster and F1 was backlogged);

3. Visas allotted to other categories.

Hi. f2b category from philippines here. My interview was held yesterday and fortunately my visa was approved. i just want to ask if they are going to deliver it to the mailing address you entered on your ds-260? thanks.....

Basically, they will ask you some of your biographic info and some of the info of your petitioner
