Hey there, so how does one get on the interview queue, is it based on PD or the day you completed the docs? Thanks.

You get it when your case is completed but no interview until your pd is current.

My PD is may2006. Is it okay if I called NVC every other day, just to ask for the interview?

Hi ricdmakahintay. When did you received your case complete letter in October? They start giving interview letter  at end of the month of October for December. If you just received your case complete letter last week of October or 3rd week maybe your not yet included to those will be given since you just got completed. It is sure  in January 2018  you will receive your Interview letter, but its up to you to contact NVC, they might have the slot for you in December. Good luck.

Does anyone have any idea as to why the Visa Bulletins have slowed down for the F2B's

They used to move between 30 and 45 days each month, now the are moving 5-7 days.

Will this be a pattern?

Hi,

The waiting time for F2B is approximately 7 years. During this time it happens, that VB is moving very fast, then it slows down and sometimes even retrogress(just what happened to Philippines). This happens when the number of applicants increases in recent months, but still the time frame is around 7 years.

I would be happy, that at least it moves and I think, that you guys with PD March 2011 will have to wait at least half a year to get current, hopefully VB will move faster.

The longest retrogression was june 2014, it lasted a year on F1. I just noticed my dad moved me to F1. Can I stay on F2B?

I swear when I saw this latest bulletin, I said thank God I didn't opt out of F1 when F2B was farther ahead, cause I still would not be current.

You can opt-out to F2B, but I don't see the point of doing this, because F1 moves forward faster.

Well, hopefully, the retro only last for 3-6months.

hi Kim i called begining  of this month they said no interview schedule for me. it's been 80 dayes form case complited.  should I call again do I have to ask anything else or i just ask about any date schedule  for me or not? thank you
