Just wondering. Have you submitted your son's DS260 if you have already paid for his fees? I suggest you call the NVC anytime now because the letter you just received is a Case Complete letter. I'm pretty sure you have an interview scheduled already. If your son's included in the interview letter, you are good to go.

hi sunset dolphin, we filed my son's DS260 and paid for the corresponding fees also together with my DS260. so, when I started my Ds260, my son was included too and my mom (my petitioner) include my son in her AOS. :)

That's good!! Last thing, have you checked your account at the CEAC website? If your son's name is there and is written as "ACCOMPANY", you have no more problem here :D

I checked my status at CEAC and asked for your case number. then I put my case number and this is the answer I got. how can I make sure that my son is included in my interview?

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask.

is this accurate?

Scroll down a little bit more and you should see this:59d2505ae26a3_ScreenShot2017-10-02at10_42_03PM.png.6c0f5e8e12deeca8369fcb414125158d.png
Your name beside the Principal Applicant and your son's name under Accompany.

If your son's name is written beside it, I'm 100% sure his name will be on the IL. The names included in the IL are the names listed in your CEAC Account.

Btw, check it here: https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx
It is under DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application

You’re very much welcome. Glad that you finally found the answer you’re looking for! A little bit more patience and you’re finally getting your interview letter. You can only call the NVC til October 5th since that will be the last day they send out interview schedules for November. If you miss that, maybe you’re up for the December interviews which will be set on October 27th to November 5th. Good luck! All the best and God bless you ☺️

wait, one more thing, why is it my category is still in F2b? Should I call NVC again for this? because from the last letter that I received, my category is F1. will this be a problem?

There won’t be any more problem with your son but you have to ask NVC why you still have F2B on your account. They should tell you what case you really are in to avoid confusion for your Medical (because they will ask your visa category there too)

One last thing, they only accept calls from 7pm to 12pm(next day) Philippine time because they are located in the US.

Hi latrellmarie, did you call NVC if you have your Interview letter already? Please update. Thank you

Hi, not yet, because I emailed a letter to NVC regarding my preference category. because I got confused if which category because the last letter I received was F1. but when I checked my visa status at CEAC, case completed but my category is F2b. So, I want to know first what category. I will let you know as soon as I received a letter from NVC. though my older sister's priority date is Jan.8 2007, but still no schedule of interview yet.

Your category is F1, but looks like, they didn't update their system yet.
