Does anyone have any idea when do we usually receive the interview schedule?

Does this happen few months before your pd becomes current or it should be current before you receive a schedule?

June 2017 bulletin shows September 2006 for F2b my PD is Jan 2007.

Does anybody know?

Let's say your PD would be 1st October 2006 and VB will expected to move by 1 month, then you would receive your IL at the end of this month, before you'll see it current on VB for July. That's how we predict how fast VB will move. Usually they are sending IL from 27th to 8th of next month.

Thanks Lain! you're the best! so it is safe to assume that it can happen 1 to 2 mos before your PD becomes current in the VB

Thanks:) it depends how fast VB will move. It started to move very fast for Philippines and got slow for the rest. If it'll continue to move 1,5 month ahead, then yes, you'll receive it in 3 months.

Not sure about other countries, but for Bangladesh we received NVC letter 6 months before PD. And after doing all the paperwork and fees, we received interview like 20 days before PD and got visa

after 20 days when PD became current. It's for F4 category not sure if it makes any difference.

Hi sorry to hear that. NVC usually takes 3 months or less. 4 months seems long.

We got our visa last year in F4.

To call once a month, let's say on the 27th for your case and ask about your case is really nothing bad. If representative doesn't provide you any information, it's nothing bad to call the other day and get more nicer and more informative representative on the phone.

And about muslims, you are not from those 7 countries, where your case could get stuck for the reason. I'm not muslim, but my case got stuck for 3 months, so it's not a thing. It's just how they work or not work in your case:D

Hi,

My mom who lives in USA is submitting my I-130 this week under F2B. Now what will be beneficiary's physical address ? Where I live currently or my permanent address ?

I am currently in Bangladesh. I might move abroad next year (UK), so if I use the present address do I need to let USCIS know about my change of address or I can let them know during the NVC process ? I am the beneficiary who is abroad (not in USA) and will apply as offshore. I am not looking for adjustment of status or anything or moving to USA before I get my greencard.

So, do I need to let USCIS know if I move to a different country or I can let them know after 6 years during the NVC process ?

I was in the same situation.. when we submitted the I-130, I was living in my home country, by the time the immigrant visa application came around I had relocated for work, so I used the new country address. Agreed with @Jamaicankim, you can update address afterwards.

You mean let them know during the NVC process and not as soon as I move. Cos I see no option to update address other than DS-260.
