I think, that you should update your case with NVC, send a photocopy of your mom's US passport and you'll be confirmed as F1.

Once again, 2nd table means, that you'll receive a WL from NVC, that you'll be able to submit your supporting and financial docs for reviewing, but you'll get your Interview letter only when your Priority date will become current and this will show chart No.1.

thanks! Haven't gotten any mail from NVC, should I have have gotten something by now?

No, not yet, as your PD was just covered by the 2nd chart. You'll receive your WL in upcoming months. Don't forget to update your case for F1, before you started your case processing with documents, as it might cause a delay later, like it happened to Khadija aktar.

That looks like a generic response that they send out once they've received your application and its still being reviewed.

You say your PD is current? Aside from calling NVC again in a few days, your best bet is to wait until they get around to completing your case for review and schedule your interview.

I hope someone has better info for you. Do one thing tho, see if you can do a timeline on your own, that way you make sure you've sent in all required documents and all your info is recent. That way, when they do contact you, you're ready. Good luck.

Hi phoenyxx. I made time line I sent documents 11th January 2017 if I count only working dayes then it's 65 dayes now. I will make a call NVC tomorrow. I hope to get cc next week.

Is it needed that the petitioner has a certain amount of salary?

How about for the ones being petitioned? Do they check if the ones being petitioned has a certain work?

Anyone know or experienced being denied of visa after waiting so long? :(

1.The petitioner needs to meet required income requirements to sponsor you, if not, then you need a cosponsor. Check the requirements here:

https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p

2. When you'll file DS-260 form online, then you'll have to provide your current job position. At the interview you also might be ask this q, so you'll have to answer the truth. Your income isn't counted together with the petitioners.

3. It is family reunification based visa. Usually they are being issued, if you'll or NVC make a mistake, it might get delayed. Visas can be denied if you'll lie at the interview, also hard felony's, drugs and visa overstay won't help to get it as well.

thank you Lain!

I have another question for the ones being petitioned. I quit my job, will this affect my petition?

another question, in the Philippines' F1 is moving faster than F2B in table B " DATES FOR FILING FAMILY-SPONSORED VISA APPLICATIONS "

but in table A " A.  FINAL ACTION DATES FOR FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCE CASES " F2B is moving faster than F1.

Does this mean that F1 will be moving faster in the following months? Or that F2B is still faster?

I'm asking because I'm thinking about continuing the F2B retention.

No, it won't, you'll just file "unemployed" if you won't work at the current time, when you'll file the form.

Yes, F2B is moving faster than F1 for Philippines at the moment and no one knows how it'll be in the future, you can just guess. You still have time to make a decision to make opt-out to F2B or not. So wait for the next VB and you'll see.
