Hey guys,

I applied for F2B and my PD is march 25th 2011. As the visa bulletin shows(July 2010), i am less than 9 months far from my PD date, but I did not hear from NVC at all by now! Does it strange? Should I receive any email or letter for paying fees and send any documents!!? I will be thankful if you can give me a hint. Also, I am living in USA base on my F1 visa! thanksss

Guys, I need your input on something. My mother has petitioned my older brother but her income is insufficient for the affidavit of support so she needs to use a joint sponsor. Another older brother of mine is a US citizen and is willing to be the joint sponsor but we are unsure whether he should sign Form I-864 or Form I-864A. He and my mother lives in the same household.

please reply

from what i understand: if your older brother is gonna be a joint sponsor he should sigh i-864 also, however his income should be sufficient for the affidavit of support.

since he and your mom lives in the same household they can combine income so that's when they would use the i-864a, its basically saying that he gives her permission to include his income

so can he be a joint sponsor without combining his income with hers? (just the I-864 only)

Wow. It's been awhile since I was here.

My PD is Dec2010.

Philippines

May I ask if anyone here is in the same boat as mine? It's been more or less 6 years? But I've just checked Visa bulletin any theyre still processing 2006 applicants. Is it really this slow? Also, the petitioner recently changed status to US citizen Oct2016, will my category from F2B automatically change to F1? Are there any way I can try to call NVC from Philippines please?

I visited USA many times in past. Thats why they asked for.

Coutries where police records are maintained and you have visited or lived there, required clearance. This you can check on NVC website which country not required pcc according to your previous travel history.

Thank for reply.

Is it for time if you live somewhere and work (more than 6 months stays) or even visits for sightseeing etc?

Is there advantage to getting clearance in anticipation or wait till they ask?

Any translation needed for UAE/KSA letters?

thanks
