I don't know, I love Murika but I'm married to a pinko-commie.

Maybe I'll just keep sitting on the fence that way I can choose my position depending what mood I'm in. Seems it is a lot easier when I'm judging people if I don't actually take a position.

If you can't go on vacation without getting paid during your time off, then yes - you can't afford the vacation.

Of course, paid time off is part of the employer-employee agreement at the time of hire but let's ignore that for

now. Let's pretend employers are being coerced by big government, that makes for a much better story.

I doubt that the majority of people could reasonably afford to take a week or two off work without pay.

Of course this version of the 'personal responsibilty' mantra is exactly the kind of ludicrous claptrap cooked up by crackpot libertarians.

Because the working, voting, tax paying public would get behind any law or policy that went totally against their own self interest.

Personally I think libertarians should be forced to wear a uniform when out in public that reflects their complete stupidity. A uniform consisting of frilly pink knickers and a pasta strainer for a hat.
