Well, this might sound really odd and off, but my friend wants to know how to go about renewing her uk passport while she is here in the state illegally. well, she is here on DREAM ACTs so that explains a lot so now she wants to renew her uk passport but after looking online and finding out how to go about it she was required to send a copy of her green card or visa in any case, so what can she do here and if anybody knows the right info and source be plz post it on here!...thanks

I doubt anyone here is going to tell you how to do something illegally. And besides that, it's against the TOS.

Did u read what posted or u just said anything that came into your mind????.....whats illegal here?? i mean what are u talking about?

If she qualified and filed under the Dream Act, she is not here illegally. Regardless of that however, she needs to contact the GB Consulate to find out what she needs to renew her passport.

You said the person is here illegally.

So how is instructing someone how to obtain a passport equate to advising him to do something illegal?

Using your logic, we would give no advice to anyone who needs a waiver, AOS as an IR of a USC with preconceived intent to immigrate, fail to depart on an expired visa and seeking AOS, etc.

Sometimes, people who are here illegally do ask for help with legal stuff.

If you think anything here is a violation of the TOS, then report it to the administrators.

Then I stand corrected. I apologize to the original poster.

I believe she can get a one way emergency travel document from the Consulate.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
