I don't see why it would be a problem......I think most people would photocopy the original (and not worrry if the copy had an original signature), why are you concerned about this?

Are you copying them to submit or just to have a copy for yourself? Why would your personal copy need an original signature? I don't understand.

my husband mailed me his I 864 his dad husband I 864 as a joint sponsor and his dads I 864a just in case they ask for it again at the interview when i go now the only problem with this forms is that they are copies and dont contain original hand signed signatures. We already sent the Originals to NVC with original signatures.

so my husband is gonna send me by regular mail 3 pages that are hand signed by him, his dads husband ,and his dad so that I can combine that with the rest of the forms. As I understood only the signature needs to be original and hand signed on the I 864 and I 864a when/if the consular officer looks at it.

also is there any way to know when the case completes?

NVC will send the originals to the embassy for interview. Bring the copies just in case, but they won't expect your copies to have original signatures, as you sent them to NVC already.

You will get a case complete once all of your documents have been reviewed and accepted by NVC. They are currently taking about 30 business days from scan date of last document received.

Also filling out your timeline will help others to answer your questions better.
