Hello, I just started my visa journey and have a question: When i filed my i-130 last month, I didn't include any pictures. Did any of you did this at the USCIS stage, NVC stage or just waited for the interview?

I have read others who have done it but I was under the assumption you don't need to but since DR is high on fraud, I don't want to take any chances.

Thanks

We included one wedding portrait with our entire families in the pictures. Nice photo. We're all having fun, in a great mood that day.

For some peace of mind by avoiding the possibility of a RFE, you are free to send the photo in now with a copy of your NOA1 (when it arrives) and a cover letter explaining what you are sending and why. We have done that with further evidence we felt was important.

Good luck!

Sending anything unsolicited after receiving the receipt notice will likely be nothing more than an exercise in futility as it is highly unlikely anything you send would be matched with the file.

If you want pictures to be part of the file prior to the interview taking place, you can include them with the civil documents that are sent to the NVC.
