How long it takes to reach NVC depends on where you sent it from and which method you used.

For example, if you sent it from continental US via speed post it will take just a day for it to reach NVC, you can track the package online and see who signed the receipt. Then it takes about another four five days to show up I the computer that "some package" from you is in the bulding. Then about another 20 working days for the docs to be reviewed.

If you used regular mail inside the continental US, then it takes upto ten days for the thing to reach NVC depending on your post code.

If you sent it from Vietnam, then add Couple of more weeks to the above. Hope this answers your question. Please don't be impatient. This whole process with NVC is a pain in the rear , but you will get through. Everyone does. Also, with your PD not current and kind of far from the current cut off ate of May 01, 2012, there is no need for you to be in such a hurry. Just make sure you do your paperwork perfectly so that there are no surprises at the interview, which is the main event.

i checked it delivered by july 14, i sent it from US

thank you for your answer

@chanhphamvn

How do you now about Sept 2014 VB already? It is not coming out for another three weeks! Please cite your source. It's good to be hopeful, but false news is not appreciated. I personally would be ecstatic if the PD does indeed move to Dec 2012 by September as my PD is Aug 2012. But if it's not, I don't want to harbor false hope.

visa bulletin for SEP 2014 PD will move forward DEC 2012

it is the good news

We need a source for this, everyone is getting excited and it will only lead to disappointment if you are wrong.

Please quote your source. We can't become like tabloid papers and print gossip.

Thanks @happywife

Much appreciated. Looking at your signature, I see that your NOA2 was back in August 2013 and your NVC stage is around March 2014. Care to share why it took so long to reach NVC? I am asking because mine was also stuck in the system and reached NVC about three months later than it otherwise would have under regular circumstances.
