August visa bulletin predictions - Will F2A turn current like it did in 2013???

Last year, August 2013 visa bulletin turned "current" for F2A and remained as such til June Z014 retrogression. Last year visa availability, considered as unique, was made by State Department to create demand for visas. August visa bulletin will be out in coupe of days...Do you think the same thing will happen this year??? crossing fingers!!!

This waiting time is really annoying

It's like we are in cross lines don't know when we will hear back from uscis

My pd is nov 2013 case approved on February2014 never heard back from them again.

i hAve case number and already paid 88 AOS and 230, fill the DS 260, and fill 864 too, just waiting to sent all package to NVC , my PD 1/11/2013

i call nvc after approved i130 1 month and have case number on phone, and now i paid fee 88 and 230, now just wait to send all package to nvc

Did they send you any letter mentioning your case number ?

Can you also please explain in detail about when you called & how you paid your fee & what package are you sending to nvc ?

This will help me & also lot ppl who are at this stage.

after paying that wait around a week and log in here http://ceac.state.gov/iv and fill out the ds 260

Call NVC as soon as possible ! Tell them that you'll pay the fee and see how they will repsond

Hi!

As far as I understand you won't be able to log into ceac until your case is invoiced. The NVC will let you know that you have to pay the AOS fee and fill out the choice of agent form by email, of course, if you gave it to them.

By the way, I'm not able to log into ceac either and my PD is Oct 28,2013.

Most likely not CURRENT as DOS already has a huge pipeline of pending cases, no need to create demand. Still hoping it would have a significant forward movement.

Absolutely no.

What happened last year was unusual. Look at all the VBs for prior months and years.

The PD for the F2a category was recently rolled backed by more than a year to reduce the number of applicants for the limited visas.

There is no way that the F2a category will be current in August or anytime soon.
